It appears that Wheel Camper Corp was a casualty of the 1973 energy crisis that claimed other pop-up camper manufacturers like Nimrod. Coachmen, who had recently acquired Viking Boats and spun off a pop-up camper line, acquired Wheel Camper’s assets and moved their new Viking Trailer operation to the Wheel Camper’s manufacturing facility in 1974.
I have several high quality brochures for Wheel Camper that I know are from the mid to late 1960's. I have not determined their exact years though, and as such I have listed them as 196x etc in an effort to expedite posting them.
