The Sportrailer Manufacturing Company was located in Detroit, Michigan. They manufactured a lightweight aluminum camper weighing less than 1000 pounds. Augustus C. Troden and Nelson Hall applied for a patent on November 18, 1946. They were awarded with US Patent 2,549,266 on April 17, 1951. As of this writing it is unclear as to when production began and when it ended. My best estimates are from 1953 to 1955. Usually Popular Science noted only new products that emerged in the market place. I have not found any literature after 1955.
